We are pleased to announce the relaunch of the Safe2Speak Programme, a 5‑week specialist domestic abuse support programme for survivors living in the St Helens area.
Delivered by our Training IDVA, the programme provides structured, interactive group sessions designed to enhance survivors’ understanding of domestic abuse, strengthen insight into their rights and options, build confidence, and support their ongoing recovery. The programme offers a safe peer‑support environment and covers key areas such as the dynamics of domestic abuse, the impact of trauma on decision‑making, effects on support networks, and domestic abuse and the law (non‑exhaustive).
Referrals should only be made when a survivor has identified they feel ready and open to group‑based work. Professionals are expected to take a trauma‑informed approach, and survivors must not be mandated to attend. The programme is voluntary, client‑led, and intended to complement existing support.
Safe2Speak remains committed to providing a safe, empowering space for survivors to move forward at their own pace.
